about booker pittman

I wanted to make a film about jazz. About jazz as a way of life: the travels, the roaming life, the self-destruction, simultaneity, fragmentation. All of these elements should lead the film’s approach, from shooting method to editing process. The film, therefore, is not realistic: it’s filled with digressions, fragments, incomplete emotions, intercrossed stories (nothing much clear, a little dispersive, but independent elements that acquire a certain unity in the final ensemble).
